We use it to deliver your results, follow up with you, and build anonymized industry benchmarks. We do not sell your data, share your company name with other users, or use your information for anything unrelated to the services you engaged with.
1. Who We Are
Red Grey Solutions ("Red Grey," "we," "us," or "our") is a construction advisory and intelligence firm based at 408 S. Eagle Rd. Suite 205, Eagle, Idaho 83616. This Privacy Policy covers our website at redgreyhq.com, the Profit Scan assessment tool, and the Profit Dashboard at scandash.redgreyhq.com.

2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Name and email address submitted through the Profit Scan gate form or contact forms
- Company name and revenue band submitted through the Profit Scan
- Your answers to the 14 Profit Scan questions (Yes / Sometimes / No for each discipline)
- Messages and inquiries submitted through our contact form
Information collected automatically:
- Standard web server logs including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referral URLs
- Google Analytics data including session duration, pages viewed, and general geographic location
- Cookies necessary for site functionality
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Delivering your Profit Scan results — your scores are calculated and displayed immediately, and a copy is emailed to you with your dashboard login credentials
- Operating the Profit Dashboard — your scan scores are stored and displayed in your personal dashboard view at scandash.redgreyhq.com
- Building industry benchmarks — your scores are included in aggregate, anonymized calculations that power the industry comparison features. Your company name and individual scores are never exposed to other users
- Following up on your results — we may contact you to discuss your Profit Scan results and whether a Margin Review or Profit Audit makes sense for your operation
- Improving our services — aggregate usage data helps us understand which features are useful and how to improve the assessment
4. The Anonymized Industry Benchmark
The Profit Dashboard includes an industry comparison feature that shows how your scores compare to other companies in our dataset. This feature works as follows:
- Every company in the dataset is assigned an anonymous ID in the format RG-XXXX. This ID is the only identifier visible in any comparison view.
- Your company name, email address, and contact information are never included in any comparison, export, or view accessible to other dashboard users.
- The industry benchmark calculations are aggregate averages computed server-side. No individual company's raw scores are exposed through the comparison feature.
- We require a minimum of 10 submissions before enabling industry comparison features, to ensure no single company can be identified by process of elimination.
5. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers — We use Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (transactional email), Vercel (hosting), and Formspree (form handling). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies and are not permitted to use your data for other purposes.
- Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
- Business transfers — If Red Grey is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain your Profit Scan results and account information for as long as your dashboard account is active, or until you request deletion. Contact information submitted through our general contact form is retained for up to 3 years.
To request deletion of your data, email support@redgreyhq.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." We will process your request within 30 days and confirm when deletion is complete.
7. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), password hashing, and row-level database security that prevents any user from accessing another user's data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time by replying to any email with "unsubscribe" or contacting us directly
